In this second class of the series, we call in deep healing as a pathway to collective change. Our Tarot guide for this class is Card 2: The High Priestess. The High Priestess tells us that we can be deeply present with What IS – the beauty and the hard things– AND also the expansive potential of What May Be. Our ability to hold both is the power of the High Priestess to open the door to deep and lasting change. And it is HEALING! So we are blessed to have with us the amazing healer and priestess, horizon greene.
With horizon, we call in ancestral magics, the power of compassion and the vehicle of belonging, casting a spell where everything becomes possible and we can't help but heal. In this working, we gather to collectively hold not just our hopes and dreams, but also our fears, our griefs, our heartaches and the weight of compromise. We feel for the above as we feel for the below. We listen to the intimacy of the body and the land so that we may speak our truth and feel, together, for pathways of collective change.
This offering follows the old ways of remembering, together, what our wise ecosystem bodies know about healing in relationship. Together, we co-create the conditions for safety, inviting the body knowingness of all-life-is-sacred-and-interconnected so that we may set a spell where healing simply happens. We close this session by casting a spell for collective healing, magic that reminds us that community trauma requires community healing.

horizon greene (she/they).
I am a queer fat nonbinary femme who practices at the intersections of oppression, grief, trauma and liberation. I believe that love is our most powerful magic and that healing happens in relationship. I believe healing and liberation are our birthright. I have spent more than 22 years in a deep study of how healing happens, learning to undo oppression while learning to co-create cultures of justice and belonging. My training has included intensive learnings in somatics, trauma healing, anti-oppressive practices, anti-racism, liberatory culture building, ritual and witchcraft. My therapy practice is a blending of liberatory healing practices rooted in the relational neurosciences, somatic wisdom, parts work, ancestral healing, magic and love. I accompany people in the deep work of making real what our souls know is possible.
My ancestors of bone and blood are those of Jewish-Polish, Jewish-Russian and Jewish-German descent. I identify as a white person with settler colonial privileges, and also come from Jewish people, folx whose body memories tell the story of grief and loss and whose prayers feed a commitment of Never Again for all of us. I am dedicated to the lifetime work of unlearning whiteness while feeling for healing in my own body and cultivating relationships with my ancestors.
